Nobel Laureate Prof. Robert F. Engle | 26th Dynamic Econometrics Conference

Thank you to everyone who attended and made possible the 26th Dynamic Econometrics Conference this month. It was wonderful to see so many people gather together to celebrate the work of Prof Sir David Hendry and to share their research on empirical economic modelling, forecasting, computational econometrics, time series and much more.

We were honoured this year to have in attendance Prof. Robert F. Engle, recipient of the 2003 Nobel Prize for Economics and Professor Emeritus of Finance at NYU Stern.

Prof. Engle anchored the conference by leading the Ana Timberlake Memorial Lecture, running a fascinating and engaging talk on 'A Financial Approach to Climate Risk'.

Prof. Engle also took the time to give a short interview, wherein he discussed the place of OxMetrics within the future of Statistics and his work with Prof. Sir David Hendry.
