David F. Hendry

Sir David Forbes Hendry is a distinguished British econometrician. Since 1982 he has served as Professor of Economics and Fellow of Nuffield College, University of Oxford, where he was Head of the Economics Department from 2001–2007 and now co‑directs the Climate Econometrics programme at the Oxford Martin School’s Institute for New Economic Thinking. A Fellow of the British Academy and the Econometric Society, he was knighted in 2009 for his contributions to economic modelling, forecasting, and time‑series econometrics
